Description
This is a standard relay used in most 240v kilns and some 120v kilns. Check your relay to see if it looks like this one before you order. If you are new to replacing relays here is the definitive guide to mechanical relays:
This is equivalent to Paragon Part #6355, Evenheat Part #11801.200, Olympic Part #12volt
If you have questions, contact us before ordering with the make and model of your kiln and we will make sure which relay is correct for you.
NOTE: A rule of thumb on relay replacement is that when one relay goes, it's an indication that the others are not far behind. Once the controller box is open, use this opportunity to change out all the relays and record the date on the side of the relays. Then make a note to order backups in a year and then change them again in 2-3 years. It's always better to be safe than sorry!
